A decorative cushion fronted in Pelle Frau® Motif Weavers, a digitally printed leather whose geometric pattern recalls wicker and basketry, and backed in Pelle Frau® ColorSphere®. Designed by Simona Cremascoli, in Cinnamon or Sage.
Basketry, reimagined in leather
For the Motif Weavers pattern, Simona Cremascoli looked to the world of weaving, wicker and basketry, and translated it into a geometric motif printed digitally onto Pelle Frau® leather. The two colour variants, Cinnamon and Sage, were designed to harmonise with the ColorSphere® palette.
The result is a cushion with an unexpected vivacity, where the classicism of the motif meets the modernity of its colour.
Front, back and everything between
The front is in Motif Weavers; the back is in monochrome Pelle Frau® ColorSphere® leather, divided into an upper part with the hot-stamped Poltrona Frau logo and a lower part in micro-perforated leather. A zip, hidden by the flap between the two, allows the cover to be removed.
The edge is finished with piping in the same ColorSphere® leather as the back, and the cushion is filled with goose down protected by an inner cotton lining.
Two colourways, two sizes
Cinnamon pairs warm, classic tones with an SC 66 India back; Sage pairs greens, browns and blues with an SC 180 Celadon back. Both are available in 47 x 47 cm and 35 x 57 cm, and both coordinate with the Motif Weavers pieces found elsewhere in the Poltrona Frau collection.
