A vase that shapes itself

The Marianne vase owes its form to a charming collaboration between the glassblower and the glass itself. The mould is made of steel blades, and as the glass is blown, it is pushed between them in ways that vary with every breath. The result is a soft, gently faceted surface that is never quite the same twice.

Each vase is therefore unique and unrepeatable, which is a rare thing to be able to say of an object one may simply order.

Milk-white, layer upon layer

The distinctive milk-white finish is achieved by blowing a layer of white glass together with the transparent glass. It gives Marianne a luminous, porcelain-like calm that suits flowers of every colour and rooms of every temperament.
