Poltrona Frau Isidoro Leather Drinks Cabinet by Jean-Marie Massaud

SKU: 5381881

A drinks cabinet upholstered in Pelle Frau® ColorSphere® leather that opens to reveal Canaletto walnut shelves, drawers and holders for glasses and bottles. Designed by Jean-Marie Massaud, Isidoro rediscovers the personal and convivial ritual of the cocktail at home.

The cocktail hour, restored

There was a time when the drinks cabinet was the most glamorous piece of furniture in the house, and Isidoro intends to restore that time without delay. Upholstered externally in Pelle Frau® ColorSphere® leather, it is a precious object crafted from precious materials and studied down to the last detail.

Opened, it reveals shelves in poplar plywood and MDF veneered in Canaletto walnut, holders for glasses and bottles with miniature railings in chrome-plated metal, and doors and drawers in Canaletto walnut veneer. A printed fabric decorates the interior walls.

Built for the long evening

The fixed part stands on plastic tips, whilst the opening part rests on plastic swivel wheels, so that the cabinet opens with a smooth, unhurried movement. Hinges are in stainless steel, and a pair of click-to-close mechanisms with a combination lock keeps the bar secure, which households with inquisitive teenagers will appreciate.
