Giobagnara x Poltrona Frau Triple Game: Chess, Checkers and Dominoes

Chess, checkers and dominoes, united in a single box covered in Pelle Frau® ColorSphere® leather with a chessboard inlay. The Triple Game from the Giobagnara x Poltrona Frau Games Collection is very nearly a complete games room in one handsome box.

Three games, one box

Why choose one game when three may be accommodated with equal elegance? The Triple Game unites chess, checkers and dominoes in a single box, made in wood and covered in Pelle Frau® ColorSphere® leather, with a chessboard inlay on its surface.

Inside, four sections hold four suede leather pouches, which keep the pieces in good order and spare the player that familiar search for the missing knight.

Pieces crafted with care

The chess pieces are made in maple and walnut. The checkers are likewise made in maple and walnut, with inlays in Pelle Frau® ColorSphere® leather, and the domino tiles are crafted in walnut with laser-engraved markings. Each game is therefore complete in itself, and all three share the same refinement of material and finish.

A partnership in leather

Giobagnara, established in 1999, and Poltrona Frau, founded in Turin in 1912, bring their respective expertise in leather to the Games Collection. The two-tone versions are drawn from the ColorSphere® palette, which Poltrona Frau developed with the colourist Giulio Ridolfo.

Colour versions

Each version combines two shades of Pelle Frau® ColorSphere® leather:

  • Charme: SC 31 Quarzo Fumé + SC 66 India, a smoky quartz grey with a warm tan brown

  • Sea: SC 44 Noisette + SC 254 Steel Blue, a soft hazelnut with a cool steel blue

  • Chalet: SC 173 Glauco + SC 177 Limo, a cool, muted blue-green with a soft, earthy neutral

  • Urban: SC 05 Stucco + SC 34 Maggese, a pale plaster tone with an earthy, understated tone

Presented with care

The Triple Game is presented in a cotton bag marked Giobagnara x Poltrona Frau and a blue branded box, with the warranty certificate enclosed.
