Giobagnara x Poltrona Frau Leather Underplate

An underplate covered in Pelle Frau® ColorSphere® leather, available singly or as a set of six. From the Giobagnara x Poltrona Frau Tableware Collection, it sets the scene for every course that follows.

The foundation of a fine table

Every well-set table begins with the underplate. It frames the place setting, marks each guest's territory with quiet authority and protects the table beneath. This one is covered in Pelle Frau® ColorSphere® leather, in a smoky Quarzo Fumé or a warm India.

Leather on the table is an unexpected pleasure: it softens the sound of china, warms the light from the candles and lends the whole setting a sense of occasion.

Singly or by the half-dozen

The underplates may be purchased individually or as a complete set of six. A set makes a memorable gift for a new home; individual pieces allow a growing collection, or a replacement for the one that met with misfortune at the end of a long evening.

The Tableware Collection

The Tableware Collection by Giobagnara x Poltrona Frau, introduced in 2024, adds a refined and precious touch to even the simplest dinner. It unites Giobagnara's leather craftsmanship, celebrated since 1999, with Poltrona Frau's trademarked Pelle Frau® leather, so that the pleasure of hosting guests around a well-set table is quietly multiplied.
