Judgement, fortune and a fine board
Backgammon rewards both judgement and a little good fortune, and this edition rewards the eye as well. The board is made in walnut and partly covered in Pelle Frau® ColorSphere® leather in three complementary tones.
Six internal sections hold the pieces during play, so that the board remains orderly even as the game grows tense. Four standard dice and a doubling cube in opaque plexiglass with mud-coloured markings complete the set.
Ready for every stage of the game
A suede leather pouch keeps the pieces together once play has finished. Closed, the board becomes an object of quiet distinction on a console or coffee table, where it invites a challenge from anyone who passes.
Crafted in walnut and Pelle Frau® leather
The Games Collection brings together Giobagnara's leather workmanship, refined since 1999, and Poltrona Frau's trademarked Pelle Frau® leather. Each version combines three shades from the ColorSphere® palette, a colour system created with the colourist Giulio Ridolfo, set against the natural warmth of the walnut.
