Giobagnara x Poltrona Frau Chinese Checkers

Chinese checkers on a walnut board partly covered in Pelle Frau® ColorSphere® leather, with walnut pieces inlaid in seven shades of leather. A game for lively afternoons, and a handsome object for every other hour of the day.

A familiar game, beautifully set

Chinese checkers has charmed players of every age for generations, and this edition gives it the setting it has long deserved. The board is made in walnut and partly covered in Pelle Frau® ColorSphere® leather, whilst the pieces are crafted in walnut with leather inlays.

Seven shades of ColorSphere® leather distinguish the pieces, so that each player's position is clear at a glance. The board, meanwhile, graces the table long after the last piece has found its home.

Seven shades, one harmonious whole

Every version shares the same six accent shades: SC 258 Mist, SC 254 Steel Blue, SC 136 Ginger Bread, SC 04 Latte, SC 175 Bengali Green and SC 146 Coccio Pesto. What sets the versions apart is the seventh, principal colour, chosen to suit the room in which the game will live.

From Giobagnara for Poltrona Frau

The Games Collection unites Giobagnara, renowned for its leather craftsmanship since 1999, and Poltrona Frau, whose trademarked Pelle Frau® leather has been developed over many decades. The ColorSphere® palette, created with the colourist Giulio Ridolfo, ensures that so many colours on a single board sit together in perfect accord.

Colour versions

Each version is distinguished by its principal leather colour:

  • Charme: SC 31 Quarzo Fumé, a smoky quartz grey

  • Sea: SC 276 Mineral Blue, a deep mineral blue

  • Chalet: SC 66 India, a warm tan brown

  • Urban: SC 28 Seppia, a deep sepia brown

All versions are combined with SC 258 Mist, SC 254 Steel Blue, SC 136 Ginger Bread, SC 04 Latte, SC 175 Bengali Green and SC 146 Coccio Pesto.
