Giobagnara x Poltrona Frau Cards Wooden Box
A walnut box for two decks of cards, partly covered in Pelle Frau® ColorSphere® leather and supplied with two decks of Giobagnara playing cards. The Cards Wooden Box keeps the card table in excellent order.
Two decks, perfectly ordered
For the household that keeps two decks in play, one for bridge and another for patience, the Cards Wooden Box offers an orderly solution. It is made in walnut and partly covered in Pelle Frau® ColorSphere® leather.
Inside, two compartments are separated by wooden dividers covered in the same leather, so that each deck has its own place. The box arrives with two decks of Giobagnara playing cards, and the evening's game may therefore begin without the customary search through the sideboard.
For the card table and beyond
Two decks allow one to be dealt whilst the other is shuffled, a custom long observed at the bridge table. Between games, the box rests on a side table or bookshelf as a quietly handsome object, a reminder that a good game begins with good order.
Leather craftsmanship from Italy
Giobagnara has refined its leather workmanship since 1999, and Poltrona Frau has worked with leather since 1912. The two-tone versions draw on the ColorSphere® palette, Poltrona Frau's colour system created with the colourist Giulio Ridolfo, and they sit well with the warm grain of the walnut.
Colour versions
Each version combines two shades of Pelle Frau® ColorSphere® leather with walnut:
Charme: SC 146 Coccio Pesto + SC 254 Steel Blue, a warm terracotta with a cool steel blue
Sea: SC 136 Ginger Bread + SC 254 Steel Blue, a warm, spiced brown with a cool steel blue
Chalet: SC 173 Glauco + SC 136 Ginger Bread, a cool, muted blue-green with a warm, spiced brown
Urban: SC 55 Camel Hair + SC 34 Maggese, a classic camel with an earthy, understated tone
Presented with care
The box is presented in a cotton bag marked Giobagnara x Poltrona Frau and a blue branded box, with the warranty certificate enclosed.
